The Boyne City Main Street Program is a grassroots, volunteer-driven program dedicated towards the historic preservation and economic development of Boyne City's downtown. The program follows the national "Main Street Four-Point Approach" to revitalization developed by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The four points focus on the Design, Economic Restructuring, Organization, and Promotion of the downtown.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are the lifeblood of Boyne City Main Street. Without the efforts of our volunteers each month, we wouldn�t survive. You don�t have to be a resident of Boyne City, a downtown business owner, or a member of Main Street to volunteer. We welcome everyone with an interest in making Boyne City even better for everyone. We have committees covering the Main Street Four Point Approach: Design, Economic Restructuring, Promotions, and Organization, all of which need volunteers.

Committee Meeting Schedule:

Promotions: 1st Monday of every month at 5:30 p.m. at the Main Street Office

Farmers Market: 1st Monday of every month at 8:30 a.m. at the City Hall Auditorium

Design: 2nd Monday of every month at 10:30 a.m. at the Main Street Office

Economic Restructuring: call for information

Organization: 4th Tuesday of every month at 4:00 p.m. at the Main Street Office In addition, we need volunteers to help out during special events, serve on the Board of Directors, and help the Program Manager run the Boyne City Main Street office.
